A paver patio runs $8,000 for a walkway to $200,000 for a full outdoor living build. At an average of $34,000 a signed job, the question is never what a lead costs. It is what a signed contract costs, and almost everything that decides that happens after the click.
The instinct is to advertise in July when a cancellation opens a hole. The homeowner planning an $80,000 outdoor living build was researching it in February and signed with somebody in April.
Creative is most of the result on Meta, and it is trade-specific in a way targeting is not. These are the things that work here and the things that do not.
Drone or elevated shots. Hardscape reads badly at eye level and spectacularly from twelve feet up, which almost nobody does.
The evening shot with the lighting on. It sells the outdoor living upgrade rather than the patio, and that is the four times contract.
Material detail: the paver pattern, the seat wall cap, the fire feature. Homeowners at this ticket are shopping on detail.
Run creative in January and February at a fraction of peak cost, when everybody else is dark.
Screening belongs in the form, not in a phone call afterwards. These are the questions that matter in this trade, in the order they matter.
Fewer leads arrive and more of them sign. Every contractor we do this with is uncomfortable in month one and stops asking about it by month three.

Typically $30 to $85, and roughly half that if you run from January rather than May in our markets, moving with season and competition. That number on its own means little: what matters is cost per signed contract, and on an average $34,000 job a more expensive lead that closes is cheaper work than a cheap one that does not.
